Generac Quiet Generators for Business Applications

Having a backup generator is not only essential for residential applications as it is also an integral business contingency. After all, productivity should not come to a halt even if a power blackout or any power interruption occurs. Business offices, gas stations, convenience stores, malls should have backup power generators that they can rely on during such instances.

Generac Quiet Series for Businesses

Generac is perhaps one of the top producers of backup generators. Founded in the late 1950s this company is solely focused in creating the power systems for backup or portable use. They pioneered the affordable residential power generator market and developed engines that are used solely for their generators. They are also one of the first ones to produce power systems targeted to the small to medium sized business sectors.

Business establishments, obviously, will have different power needs compared to a home. Business would naturally require more power to continue running its operations when the lights go out. Generac created a line of high-powered and high-wattage generators just for this niche and the line is currently composed of 22,000 watts (22 kW), 27,000 watts (27 kW), 36,000 watts (36 kW) and 48,000 watts (48 kW) generator models that are designed to for quiet operation. Of course, these machines would not be as silent as a 2000 or 3000 or even a 5000 watt generator but they have been designed to be as low-noise as possible for their size and power.

Each of them runs with a low speed (1800 rpm) and liquid cooled engine for significantly reduced noise. The lower speed also helps the engine consume less fuel for the same output which makes it a fuel efficient machine. The engine runs on either liquefied petroleum or natural gas for that clean and environment-friendly burn.

They are also equipped a high-tech controller system which they refer to as Generac’s Nexus Controller featuring a multi-lingual LCD display and are programmed to perform self-calibration and testing every week to help maintain high quality operation and fuel efficiency.

The generators are finished with aluminum casing that are designed for all-weather use and are corrosion resistant. They are designed to work in coastal airs where the salty air can be corrosive to other metals.

Businesses need backup power generators for their operational continuity plan in cases of power outages. This is an important element of any business and should not be overlooked. Installing backup generators can really be beneficial to your business when it comes to dealing with power interruptions are concerned.
