VIDEO: Load Test of the Chicago Electric 800 Watt Portable Genset

Below is a load test video of the lightweight 800 watt (900 watts max) Chicago Electric Generator. This unit is a nifty piece of power equipment. Weighs a measly 39 lbs. (shipping weight) and is clearly built to do what it can claim it can do— which is to produce 800 watts of reliable power on the go. Video shows the unit pushed to its limits and passes with flying colors. Though at 91 dB noise level, this unit is somewhat loud so be sure you take note of that if you are looking for a low-noise unit that you can use for recreation or backup purposes. A second video is presented below which shows a new unit being operated and running a couple of common household appliances.
