Powermate PM0435001 6,250 watt generator – this is rated at 5000 watt generator with a max of 6250 watts. This is also non-CARB compliant so you won’t see this unit in California. It is powered by a 10 hp Subaru engine and is designed with a 6-gallon fuel tank that can sustain continuous power generation of up to 10.5 hours at 50% load. It is low-noise and is designed with four 120v sockets and one 120/240v socket. It has a circuit breaker feature for additional safety.
Powermate PM0497000.04 8,750 watt generator – a powerful 7000 watt generator with a peak of 8.75 kilowatts, this generator can be used in many different areas that may include backup duties, job sites or even recreational. Its notable features include a huge 8-gallon tank that can keep it running for at least 12 hours non-stop at 50% load. It is run by a 13 hp Honda engine equipped with a nice low-oil automatic shutdown feature for extra protection. It has some nice pneumatic wheels and folding handles that make it easier to transport and move. It has four 120v outlets and one 120/240v outlet.
Powermate PM0418000 10,000 watt generator – this one’s rated at 8000 watts with a maximum of 10,000 watts and is one of Coleman’s most powerful portable models. It is pushed by a powerful 15 hp Kohler OHV engine with an 8-gallon tank that can keep it whirling up to 9 hours at 50% load. Specifications also indicate the low-oil shutdown feature as well as a circuit breaker. It is also designed with an automatic voltage regulator that can help protect delicate electrical devices from getting fried due to inadvertent power surges or fluctuations.
